YJP of Fort Lauderdale Mission Statement:
We strive to provide an engaging and spiritually uplifting venue for the young professional community. Our goal is to promote and strengthen Jewish awareness pride and identity by providing educational, cultural, and social activities to young Jewish adults regardless of affiliation or background.
YJP of FLL is a Division of Chabad Lubavitch of Fort Lauderdale, under Rabbi Moshe Meir Lipszyc who founded Chabad here in Fort Lauderdale 32 years ago and is executive Director of all Chabad outreach programs here in Fort Lauderdale.
Chabad Lubavitch of Fort Lauderdale is a branch of the worldwide Chabad Lubavitch movement, the world’s largest network of Jewish educational and outreach organizations, founded by the Lubavitch Rebbe.
It is a vibrant and dynamic force in Jewish life, and its programs touch the lives of millions of people in thousands of communities throughout the world. Treasuring the infinite value of every individual, YJP is committed to enriching the lives of every single Jew.

Meet the Rabbi and Rebbetzin
Rabbi Mendel Fayershteyn was born in Crown Heights Brooklyn NY, where Chabad Lubavitch headquarters is located. He attended Oholei Torah Yeshiva, and Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto, and got his master’s in rabbinic studies, and Rabbinic ordination at Jewish educational trade school (JETS) in Granada Hills, CA.
Mendel decide when he got married to devote his life to Jewish outreach as an emissary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Mendel is well known for his side-splitting humor and infectious passion for Judaism and Chassidic philosophy, And for his tremendous joy!!!
Gitty grew up right here in Fort Lauderdale, with her father Rabbi Moshe Meir Lipszyc, and her famliy , Where she dedicated her whole life to share the love and experience of Judaism to the whole community, she attended Hebrew Academy & Beth Rivkah in Brooklyn and Ohel Chana Seminary in Melbourne, Australia.
Gitty is well known for her detection and love for every single human being, and for her unbelievable delicious cooking that she does for every Shabbat and holiday dinner.
